Summer Lawn Care Tips
We are on vacation for two weeks. But here's some summer time lawn care tips.
Hello everyone, welcome back to our channel: Getting Your Edge: How to Downsize Your Life. We're your favorite Seattle area realtors, and we specialize in helping long-term homeowners downsize to cozy smaller homes, retirement communities, or even exciting vacation areas. Today, we're bringing you a short update because we are currently on vacation, recharging our batteries to bring you even better content. Therefore, a full podcast episode won't be available for the next two weeks. But don't worry, we'll be back soon with more insights on navigating the real estate market. In the meantime, we wanted to share some valuable tips on summer lawn care in the Pacific Northwest. Did you know that your lawn only needs to be watered once a week during the summer, but it should be a deep watering of about one inch? Watering daily promotes shallow root growth, lawn diseases, and removes the nutrients quicker. Alternatively, you might consider letting your lawn go dormant during the hot months. It reduces water usage and is a sustainable choice. Thanks for tuning in to this quick update. We'll catch up with you in two weeks with a brand new episode. Until then, happy summer!
